October 7 Dawn Procession
In rain we made our dawn procession in honor of the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. It felt so good to be able to manifest our devotion as the city began to wake up and rise for the day. After the procession we proceeded to the ACIM-Asia office where we had prepared the breakfast table. Thanks to Chief Captain Seymour Apalisok we had boxes of chocolates and packs of Arabian dates and mixed nuts which we spread out on the table together with our bread and spreads and coffee and fruits.
The rain was very bad in the central part of the city so the group coming from that quarter came late, and did their own 15-decade vigil before the Blessed Sacrament in honor of Our Lady. Then they came to the office where they partook of the fiesta treats.
Still a third batch came in the evening.. Those who could not join the morning devotion came in the evening and afterwards enjoyed also the chocolates and nuts and bread and fruits.
Everyone drew lots from the raffle that we had prepared to thank Our Lady and also God for the goodness that the benefactors have shared to the Rosa Mystica Mission patients. We picked names of sponsors and benefactors for whom we were to offer Rosaries and Holy Masses. Patients who came to the office that day also picked their lots.
Those who could helped in the making of thank you cards for the benefactors.
The day ended with a barbecue fiesta. Happy feast day, everyone!!!!
