There was no priest coming for the Holy Thursday.  We had a vigil nevertheless.  
We prepared the altar for the night adoration.

And at night we took turns in adoring the Blessed Sacrament 

and praying for priests.

Earlier in the afternoon, there was a film showing on the Passion of Christ.  

In the audience were children from the different mission villages.  

 

After the show there was a brief exhortation for people to engage in examination of conscience and then to go to Confession during the Holy Week in order to worthily receive the Holy Communion at Easter.

There was also a lecture on the Shroud of Turin.  

On the following day, there was a conference on the Seven Last Words,

 followed by the Stations of the Cross.

AoM friends from Cotabato, South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat came to join us in the Holy Week ceremonies.  Members prepared for a General Confession.  Youth recruits were encouraged to go to Confession and assisted in the review of the catechism and the examination of conscience.  

We invited the catechism pupils from the different villages to come to St. James chapel to participate in the ceremonies and to make their Confession.  We prepared refreshments and food for the participants, and printed guides for confession and took time to aid the participants on the proper manner of examination of conscience and Confession. At Easter, we organized games and Easter egg hunting for the children  We were quite busy for sure, but we were happy, as always.  

 14:  Easter Saturday:  Assisted at a nuptial Mass in Marbel.  The boys came to prepare the altar and serve the Mass, and the girls to sing.
